Molyneaux is a 4th generation family-owned home improvement business. The company has 8 locations in Pittsburgh, and aside from in-shop sales, its business model heavily relies on in-home appointments that are set up either via a booking tool on its website or over the phone.

Molyneaux started with Algofy on Google and Social Ads, and after doubling their amount of leads while cutting cost-per-lead in half in less than a year, they began to rely on Algofy with much more. For instance, Molyneaux had a slow website and creatives that didn't move the needle. Algofy built a new website to cut load times in half and designed scroll-stopping creatives for Social that doubled click-through rates. In light of the performance of digital media, Molyneaux utilized Algofy for full 360° support by leveraging our creative team for print media on flyers, as well as for bus stop and billboard ads.
For advertising, we first doubled the leads and cut the cost-per-lead in half by focusing on relevancy for Molyneaux's audience.
Next, we leveraged local keyword searches and ad copy targeting specific areas within the metro.
We built a new website moving Molyneaux off of their heavy, slow Wordpress site. We moved them to Webflow, which cut their site speed load time in half.
We also utilized CRO to eliminate any possible friction between our efforts on paid ads and webpage experience.
The performance of these was poor, because the company logo took up too much space by covering the image of the interior and also taking more attention than the sales offer.
We used more warm and stylish interior photos highlighting a key sale offer in yellow and placing it in the top right corner, which generally is where people's attention goes first. Adding the CTA "Get a free estimate" creates a high incentive for the client to get the product.
After a web refresh gone wrong, Molyneaux came to us having nearly a 40% drop in online sales over the previous few months. Their previous site was also noticeably slow and was not able to pass any of Google web core vitals tests. They needed help and fast in order to get them back on track to hitting their sales targets.
We quickly rebuilt their site helping to improve load times, accessibility, and navigation. We then took a more structured approach to improve conversion rates by implementing a series of A/B tests. The new site helped them improve online sales and get them back on target.
System that works
Molyneaux previously had a piecemeal and broad-strokes strategy. Bringing all digital and print activities under one roof with Algofy allowed them to be granular on specific tactics on creative assets, ad targeting, website, and email, while also being cohesive throughout their 360° of marketing.
Since we hired Algofy less than a year ago, we have doubled our sessions and engagement and lowered our conversion costs. We track performance and engagement metrics, and Algofy has delivered on both.
